JOIN THE CRIME CLUB AND RECEIVE A 10% DISCOUNT ON ALL YOUR CLUB PURCHASES!
Each month Crime Club members receive a signed and personally inscribed first edition mystery from the most exciting mystery writers working today. Subscriptions also make wonderful gifts for the mystery fans in your life.
Our emphasis is on first mysteries by new authors — we were the first to showcase such outstanding mystery debuts as Michael Connelly’s Black Echo and John Dunning’s Booked To Die — but we also offer significant new works by established writers, as with such break-out books as Walter Mosley’s Fearless Jones and Arturo Perez-Reverte’s The Nautical Chart. Most of the books we have chosen for our CRIME COLLECTORS CLUB have gone on to win many of the major mystery awards around the world.
Membership has no extra costs, and you are under no obligation. You may resign from any club with just ten days notice. Just contact The Mystery Bookstore directly regarding this special offer. You may email orders@mystery-bookstore.com or telephone us on our toll-free number, (800) 821-9017. A Mystery Bookstore Staff member will contact you for credit card information.

AUGUST CRIME CLUB SELECTION, PAM'S FAVORITE and STEPHEN'S FAVORITE

Edward Wright takes a departure from his John Ray Horn series but not from his incredible writing. In this compelling mystery, disgraced journalist, Randall Wilkes returns home to his boyhood home in the hills of Tennessee. The only project available to him is writing the biography of his good friend, the ex-governor of the state. But once Wilkes arrives, there's murder, dark secrets and history dating back to the Civil War to be uncovered. Wilkes has to use his now defunct investigative skills to uncover the truth before anyone else dies. Edward Wright does a fantastic job of bringing the reader the feel, smells and beauty of this small rural town, Damnation Falls.

THIS MONTH'S CRIME CLUB SELECTION:

DANIEL SILVA discusses and signs MOSCOW RULES

Tuesday, August 12 at 7:00 p.m.

BOBBY'S FAVORITE

danielsilva.jpgmoscowrules.jpg Putman, $26.95

Just in time for your late-summer vacation, Gabriel Allon is back. The Israeli security operative and international art expert must go to Moscow, where a former KGB colonel-turned-tycoon is putting together an arms deal that will put Russia's most sophisticated weapons in the hands of al Qaeda. Buzz around this book is already huge; you may have seen Daniel Silva on the Today show or Hardball, among other appearances. At the request of Mr. Silva's publisher – and following our own policy – Mr. Silva will be happy to sign backlist titles, but customers must buy at least one copy of MOSCOW RULES at The Mystery Bookstore in order to have older copies signed. Each customer may have up to three older books signed in addition to MOSCOW RULES on their first pass through the line; depending on Mr. Silva's schedule, you may be able to get back in line to have additional titles signed. Thanks for your cooperation.
